Product Description Kevin Trudeau blows the lid off a nest of deception and double standards concerning general and individual health in this new book, "Natural Cures 'They' Don't Want You To Know About." Kevin has risked government prosecution to bring you the full story of an intricate conspiracy. From the retail supermarket outlets of huge, publicly traded corporations comes processed, manipulated, engineered "food products" produced by other wings of the same corporation. These artificial, toxic treats are then sold with the blessings of the Federal Trade Commission and Food and Drug Administration government organizations charged with safeguarding the public good laying the foundations for future disease and chronic ill-health for the consumer, and a guaranteed source of revenue for the medical and pharmaceutical sectors. Kevin reveals the shocking truth of how drugs which are being advertised directly to the consumer, pushing their use to an all-time high are actually the cause of illness and disease climbing to near epidemic levels. And, though it sounds dire, Kevin offers a light in the darkness and directs the reader to scores and scores of alternative therapies, medical practices, philosophies and most importantly potential cures that help your body regain its natural state of health and vibrancy. So follow Kevin on an amazing journey through the behind-the-scenes world of corporate sponsored "nutrition" and "health," and learn about "Natural Cures 'THEY' Don't Want You To Know About."

Great INFO... February 28, 2010 Pink Rose (USA) Lots of information to take in and learn (could be overwhelming). But, changes can be made in your life to improve your health if your willing to slowly make changes in your 'routine' of what you eat.. habits etc. The book is a EYE opener.
1) Don't trust FDA
2) Don't trust Food industry
3) Don't trust Government to take care of your 'health care needs'as they will care for their wallet 1st.
CAREFUL who you trust w/ your health. In many ways your responsible, don't depend 100% on anyone but yourself..then seek assistance for health care providers. Be careful to trust MD's who may be getting kickbacks from Pharmacy reps/drug companies etc. I SUGGEST THE BOOK as a learning tool, 4 stars.
Great Substance, Poor Style February 25, 2010 allodds 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I read this book only yesterday, and am going to keep this review very short. I would have given 5 stars for the substance of this book, but I had to take a star off for the "go to my website for more information" spiel. It was a minor irritant for me because I have done my own research over the years (thanks to the internet) and don't need Kevin to tell me which are the best water filters out there...
Nevertheless, everything he says is consistent with my own findings. In that sense, there was really nothing new I got from it, but that may be because I am reading this book quite late.
So, would I recommend buying this book ? No, just get a copy from your library and read the first half of the book. You will then know how to find facts on your own if you know how to google.
ZERO STARS!!! February 15, 2010 Bach the Rock (Long Island) I got this book at a garage sale for 1$, giving in to my curiosity. One dollar was too much. There is no information of any health value, and as a read, it gets rather boring and repetitive. There are plenty of other books out there on the topic of natural cures that do have substantial and legitimate information. Just go to the book store. The sad thing is that there will always be enough suckers in the world to make clever smooth talking charlatans a ton of money. I recently came across one of his new scams "your wish is your command". The promotion actually uses Trudeau's success at building his wealthy empire as support for the so called product. It made me wonder if the gist of this new promotion is how to become a smooth talking charlatan preying on the weak and uninformed.
Cure the cures. February 12, 2010 StaceyJ. (Richfield, KS.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
To begin with I loved Kevin Trudeau's Mega Memory, Mega Math and Mega Speed Reading programs. I also met Kevin briefly in 1999. He seemed to be a great guy.
The book, Natural Cures, does not offer much information. The reason being is that nobody is allowed to make a medical claim without a medical degree. The government also threw an undo fit toward the orange juice industry and Cheerios because they made a claim that their product could lower cholesterol and reduce heart disease. Out of the three, Kevin stood up and fought back, so I give him credit for that.
I highly doubt that Kevin is lying, but if for some reason he is, I trust the government even less. I believe the government comes up with laws just to show that they are accomplishing something in office. At any rate they should let Kevin reveal his "Natural Cures" in any form that he wants. And the Americans should use their common sense on whether to follow or not.
Nothing to believe in this book February 11, 2010 Brian J. Landsberger (Las Vegas, NV) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I guess it is unwise to trust the star rating in Amazon. This book is just trash yet it has a high star rating. The book is mostly a continuous rant about some international conspiracy against natural cures. But every time I checked independent sources Trudeau was wrong. By page 100 the lies and exaggerations got so bad they were humorous. This book is only good for a laugh at silly ideas and notions and an education on how someone can tell one lie after another. I think the author could likely be classified as a pathological lier.
